FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1.    Question:  WHY SHOULD I PICK YOUR COMPANY, OTHER COMPANIES ARE CHEAPER?
The Law Offices of Gregory A. Williams, P.S., Inc. and Washington Paralegal Services are divisions of Williams Law
Group, P.S.
If you feel that you're getting in over your head, you can always consider retaining our law firm to
represent you.  If you do retain our law firm we'll apply your Washington Paralegal Services payment to the
attorney retainer fee! You won't get that at the other paralegal services companies.  In addition, our paralegals are
supervised by an experienced family law attorney, and he will review your paperwork before you receive it.

2.    Question:  HOW LONG WILL MY DIVORCE TAKE?
Answer:  You must wait a minimum of 90 days after you file your petition to finalize your divorce.

3.    Question:  WHAT HAPPENS IF MY SPOUSE WON'T SIGN THE DIVORCE PAPERWORK?
Answer:  Your divorce will be considered contested, and you will need to formally serve your paperwork on your
spouse.  You may consider consulting with an attorney.  If you retain our attorney, then we will apply your
Washington Paralegal Services payment to our attorney's retainer fee.  BEWARE of companies that file your
paperwork in Lincoln County for you (ALWAYS ask where your documents are being filed).

4.    Question:  WILL YOU FILE THE DIVORCE PAPERWORK?
Answer:  We can file your paperwork, but our customers generally file their own paperwork using our written
instructions in order to save money.

5.    Question:  WILL YOU REPRESENT ME IN COURT?
Answer:  Washington Paralegal Services cannot represent you in your divorce.  If you need representation in court,
then you may consider contacting our attorney for a consultation.

6.    Question:  HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?
Answer:  Please see our Menu of Services by clicking the "SERVICES" tab above.

7.    Question:  WILL YOU GIVE ME LEGAL ADVICE?
Answer:  It is against the law for a paralegal to give legal advice.  Our paralegals will absolutely NOT give legal
advice to you.  However, we provide you with resources, instruction, and attempt to answer all of your questions.

8.    Question:  I WANT A DIVORCE.  HOW DO I GET STARTED?
Answer:  Click on the Services tab in the menu.  Select the item that you wish to purchase; you will then be given
further instruction to complete your purchase.

9.    Question:  WHAT IS THE ASSETS AND LIABILITIES WORKSHEET?
Answer:  This worksheet is an essential exhibit to your divorce paperwork.  It will determine the division of all of
your personal property and liabilities (debt) between you and your spouse.  Your failure to include this exhibit with
your divorce paperwork might cause your assets and liabilities to be divided with your spouse incorrectly.
NEVER
forget to add this exhibit to your divorce paperwork.
